Getting tripled in labor should be a crime

Staffs a bunch of mean girls, not traveler friendly at all.

It's a county hospital. Not traveler friendly. New nurses with no experience with sick patients as charge nurses. Lots of psych. Tech's sit on psych patients all night so no support staff. Many holds. Can have up to 6 patients.

Services include a Level I Trauma Center, the only verified burn center in North Texas and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:
• Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies 
• Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff 
• Collaborate with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care 
• Participate consistently in Universal Protocol and site marking identification 
• Assist with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room preparation for routine procedures 
• Read physician orders/protocols and communicate with physicians as needed 
• Select equipment according to protocols and regulatory standards 
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, conduct preventive maintenance procedures 
• Troubleshoot equipment and report repair needs 
• Instruct technologists in operation of special procedures equipment 
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility 
• Rotating after hours call with required Sunday rotation 
• Maximum 30 minute commute time for call requirements 
• Must have 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases required 
• Required certifications: ARRT or RCIS, ACLS, BLS 
• State of Texas Medical Radiologic License required 
• Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred 
• Previous travel experience preferred

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:
• No call responsibilities 
• No weekend requirements 
• Work with Hologic equipment (7 units) and GE equipment (2 units) 
• Handle 20-25 cases per day per technologist 
• Perform mammography tests and develop results to produce quality breast images for radiologists 
• Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed 
• Assist physicians in special procedures as needed 
• Process Quality Control checks on systems in accordance with American College of Radiology standards 
• Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System 
• Communicate with patients regarding procedures to ensure comfort 
• May provide training and supervision to radiologic students 
• Must have 2+ years of Mammography Technologist experience 
• ARRT (R) certification required (ARRT Advanced Certification in Mammography preferred) 
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from TX Department of State Health Services or TX Medical Board required 
• Experience with screening, diagnostic mammograms, and assisting with biopsies and needle localizations highly preferred 
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) 
• Previous travel experience preferred 
• Must maintain ARRT certification and Texas State licensure
