We're your community, your hospital and team, working hard for you. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team!  Responsibilities What You’ll DoThe Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.  The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.  The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.  The successful candidate will be able to: <ul><li>Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups:  Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics.</li><li>Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements.</li><li>Participates in the responsible management of health care resources.</li><li>Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others.</li><li>Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills</li><li>Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays </li></ul> Qualifications What You'll Bring<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</li><li>Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.</li><li>Current BLS</li></ul>What We OfferCompetitive pay and benefits package including Health/Dental/Vision/401(k) match. Responsibilities What You’ll Do The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.  The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.  The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.  The successful candidate will be able to: <ul><li>Provide support and supervision of Nuclear Stress test patients in medical imaging </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics.</li><li>Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements.</li><li>Participates in the responsible management of health care resources.</li><li>Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others.</li><li>Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills</li><li>Ability to work varied shifts </li><li>Oversees admission, assessment, and preparation of patients. Responsibilities What You’ll Do The Student Nurse Apprentice, under the direction of a Registered or Licensed Nurse, performs basic patient care activities and related services in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.  The successful candidate will be able to:<ul><li>Provides patient care under the direction of a Registered or Licensed Nurse.</li><li>Reports observations regarding patient condition/changes to the Registered or Licensed Nurse in a timely manner.</li><li>Collects patient data under the direction of the RN or LPN and according to unit policy.</li><li>Documents patient information and patient care given consistent with hospital and unit standards.</li><li>Performs only those functions approved by the Idaho Board of Nursing and does not exceed the Board-approved scope of practice and the hospital Nurse Extern Program.</li></ul> Qualifications What You’ll Bring<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Current Student Nurse Certificate in the State of Idaho required</li><li>Current enrollment in an accredited RN Nursing program required</li><li>Current BLS certification required</li></ul>What We Offer Competitive pay and benefits package including Health/Dental/Vision/401(k) match.
