CT Technologist - CT Tech X-ray

Job Details:
• Work Sunday through Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM 
• Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray procedures 
• Weekend requirement in rotation 
• No holiday coverage required 
• No call responsibilities 
• Must start own IVs as there is no IV team 
• Floor specific orientation provided 
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT) certification 
• West Virginia license required 
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license at time of submission 
• Agency must provide radiation badge to traveler 
• 50 mile radius rule applies 
• Must disclose any licensing hits at time of submission 
• Perform general CTs and CTAs, general X-ray, portables, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy procedures 
• Work with Synapse EMR system and Epic charting system 
• Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for shorter assignments

<h2>Job Description</h2>
 American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring both CT and X-Ray expertise and current ARRT (CT) certification.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in an acute care setting as part of the CT/X-Ray Tech team</li><li>Perform general CTs, CT angiograms, general X-rays, portable imaging, C-Arm and fluoroscopy procedures</li><li>Patient population includes adults in an acute care environment</li><li>Utilizes EpicCare Inpatient EMR and Synapse equipment</li><li>Night shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30PM to 5:00AM</li><li>Weekend work is part of the rotation</li><li>Must be able to float between CT and X-Ray within the department</li><li>Candidate must perform both CT and X-Ray exams including portables and fluoroscopy</li><li>Facility uses a 50 mile radius rule—no local travelers accepted within 50 miles</li><li>Applicants who previously worked as perm staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers</li><li>Travelers cannot work at any WVU facility for more than one year without a two-year break</li><li>Floor-specific orientation is provided for this assignment</li><li>Holidays are not required for this position</li></ul>
 
 <h2>Requirements</h2>
 <ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray technologist experience required</li><li>BLS (AHA) certification required</li><li>Active ARRT (CT) certification required</li><li>Valid West Virginia radiography license required if applicable</li><li>Experience starting own IVs required</li><li>Must provide an unexpired driver’s license for consideration</li><li>Radiation badge required (candidate must obtain through agency)</li></ul>
