      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with charge and specialized ICU experience for a night shift assignment in California.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in the ICU of an acute care hospital</li><li>Patient ratios are 1:2 in the ICU</li><li>Requires floating to similar units such as Telemetry as needed</li><li>Possible float to other facilities within the state</li><li>Night shifts are scheduled as 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00</li><li>Uses Meditech and Epic charting systems</li><li>Scrub color is flexible; any color is permitted</li><li>Responsible for managing and providing patient care in the ICU, with charge duties as assigned</li><li>May be required to float to other units or partner facilities</li><li>Free parking available on site</li><li>Returning former permanent staff must wait three months before being eligible to return as travelers and must live at least 50 miles from the facility</li><li>Requested time off must be included at time of application; changes may not be honored after submission</li><li>Minimal to no requested time off is preferred</li><li>Travelers are expected to float; refusal may result in contract termination</li><li>Covid and flu vaccination documentation required</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active CA RN license required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience, including experience in at least one of Surgical, Trauma, Shock, or Neuro ICU settings</li><li>Charge RN experience required</li><li>Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>References: Two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty required</li><li>SSN and date of birth required for consideration</li><li>No pending licenses accepted</li></ul>
