The department is in an ideal location to care for outpatients. There are 2 banks of elevators that allow for quick dispatch of inpatients. Experienced long-term staff answered questions quick. Protocols were clear. There is a dedicated nuclear medicine radiologist who was open, available and cordial. I would take another contract there in a heartbeat!

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in California requiring a CA RN license, 3 years of recent experience, and multiple advanced certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an acute care hospital Labor and Delivery unit</li><li>Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, three shifts per week</li><li>Care for laboring mothers with responsibility for both mother and newborns as needed</li><li>May be required to float to the Mother Baby unit and between facilities within the state</li><li>Charting is performed using Epic EMR and experience with Epic is required</li><li>Weekend shifts may be required depending on contract length</li><li>Role involves providing comprehensive care and support to laboring mothers and newborns</li><li>No on-call requirement</li><li>Returning permanent staff must have a minimum 3-month separation before returning as a traveler</li><li>Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility</li><li>Flexibility required to float between facilities within the state as operationally necessary</li><li>Any requested time off must be disclosed with initial application for consideration</li><li>No specific dress code for scrubs; any color is permitted</li><li>Free parking is provided</li></ul>
