 American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to rotate between cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology labs with at least one year of experience.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in a split lab rotating between cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology settings</li><li>Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM</li><li>Participation in call schedule with 9-10 call shifts per 6-week period, including weekends</li><li>Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li><li>Must be willing to work holidays based on assignment period—please review rules for number of holidays required</li><li>No blocked scheduling allowed</li><li>Must be in full compliance prior to start date to avoid orientation delays</li><li>No restriction for local candidates; same rate applies</li><li>Returning travelers must have been away from all related facilities for at least one year before returning</li><li>Travel pairs cannot be assigned the same shift on the same unit</li><li>No more than 7 days of requested time off, and none during the first week of assignment</li></ul>

Job Details:
• Work in split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular &amp; Interventional Radiology

• Weekend coverage included in call schedule 
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed 
• Minimum 1 year experience required - unit accepts first time travelers 
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS 
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations 
• Daily census of 16 patients across 3 rooms 
• 8 hours of orientation required 
• Holiday work required - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, must work all holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, must work two holidays 
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed 
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract 
• Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, stent placement, and various vascular interventions 
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, EKG lead placement, sterile technique maintenance, room circulation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
