      <p>American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a night shift weekender position requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital setting providing diagnostic imaging services</li><li>Role involves performing radiographic, portable, c-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures</li><li>Night shifts from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with on-call and holiday rotation</li><li>Patient population includes emergency, inpatient, and surgical cases</li><li>Use of radiology information systems including PACS and electronic medical records</li><li>Operation of mobile radiologic equipment in OR, ER, and at patient bedside</li><li>Perform patient positioning and operate imaging equipment for quality diagnostic studies</li><li>Provide patient education and apply principles of radiation protection</li><li>Assist radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray exams, prepare and help administer contrast media</li><li>Document procedures and medication information in the EMR</li><li>Report and document radiologic safety incidents according to protocol</li><li>Assist with scheduling, patient transport, and providing practical instruction to radiography students and new technologists</li><li>Adhere to ALARA principles and patient safety standards during all procedures</li><li>Holiday and on-call rotations required as part of the schedule</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology</li><li>Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a radiologic technologist</li><li>Active ARRT Radiography registration required</li><li>IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois (license required if applicable)</li><li>BLS certification required (or must obtain within 90 days)</li><li>Expert level knowledge of EMR, PACS, and imaging equipment</li></ul>
