      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Illinois with day shifts and on-call rotation, requiring strong critical care and cardiovascular intervention experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit</li><li>Day shift position with on-call rotation that includes 2 nights per week and 6 weekends during the 13-week contract</li><li>Patient population includes individuals requiring interventional neurology and cardiovascular procedures</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams</li><li>Department may support other units for patient care needs during on-call</li><li>Provide assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with established standards</li><li>Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved techniques and procedures</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation following hospital and system standards</li><li>Participate in departmental performance improvement and shared governance activities</li><li>Support patient and family education at appropriate levels of understanding</li><li>May be expected to provide guidance to other units or departments</li><li>Must be willing to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Engage in continuous professional development and peer review processes</li></ul>

      <ul><li>Active and current IL RN license required</li><li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program</li><li>Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of critical care experience required</li><li>Experience in cardiovascular interventions required</li><li>Interventional neurology experience preferred</li><li>Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS</li><li>Must successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation</li></ul>

            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology setting supporting interventional cardiology, neurology, radiology, and electrophysiology procedures</li><li>Day shift position with an on-call rotation including one night per week, one weekend per month, and holiday coverage</li><li>Weekly schedule ranges from 32 to 40 hours</li><li>Responsibilities include both diagnostic imaging and special procedures</li><li>Care for adult patients in a Level I Trauma environment</li><li>Perform and assist with cardiovascular, neurological, and interventional radiology procedures</li><li>Responsible for prepping and monitoring patients, including vital signs and physiological monitoring</li><li>Operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment, ensuring sterility and radiation safety</li><li>Document procedural data, medication administration, and support patient care post-procedure</li><li>Assist with vascular access, use of contrast agents, injectables, and provide instruction to students and partners</li><li>Position requires strict adherence to sterile technique and biohazard protocols</li><li>First-time travelers will be considered for this position</li><li>Scrub attire as required by department policy</li></ul>
