      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts with at least one year of radiologic technologist experience and active ARRT and BLS certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based CT department serving diverse patient populations</li><li>Night shift from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM</li><li>Call required one or two times (16-24 hours) every 6 weeks</li><li>May be required to float to nearby facilities as needed</li><li>13-week assignment</li><li>Uses Cerner EMR system with required experience</li><li>Produce high-quality CT images following established protocols and under radiologist supervision</li><li>Assist radiologists during procedures and supervise student technologists</li><li>Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with regulatory standards</li><li>Assist with education and preparation of patients for imaging procedures</li><li>Responsible for data entry, order verification, and effective communication with staff and patients</li><li>Involves exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, and radiation</li><li>May be required to work weekends or holidays according to department needs</li><li>50-mile radius rule in effect; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible</li><li>Assignment duration limited to one calendar year; 30-60 day break required before returning</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active South Carolina or compact state license required if applicable</li><li>Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification</li><li>Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association</li><li>South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification</li><li>Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred</li><li>High school diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited Allied Health or CT Program preferred</li><li>Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, move, and assist patients up to 50 lbs</li><li>Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards</li></ul>
