      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience for an acute inpatient, swingbed, and outpatient role requiring BLS certification and WI licensure.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is located in an acute care setting with responsibilities in acute inpatient, swingbed rehab, and outpatient physical therapy</li><li>Typical daily caseload averages 10-12 patients per 8-hour shift, including primarily orthopedic, neurological, imbalance, and weakness diagnoses</li><li>Expect 2-3 hours spent in inpatient and swingbed care daily, with the remainder in outpatient coverage</li><li>Department operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekend or holiday shifts</li><li>Work schedule typically consists of 5x8 hour shifts, but 4x10 shifts may be considered; shifts are scheduled by the department manager</li><li>Cerner is currently used for documentation and is transitioning to Epic; prior Cerner experience preferred</li><li>Main responsibilities include evaluating and providing therapy to adult patients across acute, swingbed, and outpatient settings</li><li>Team includes a rehab aide and appointment coordinator; no PTA support</li><li>Onboarding includes up to 2 days of orientation with a preceptor and department manager, with expectation to manage a full caseload quickly</li><li>Closed-toe shoes required; scrubs or business casual attire accepted</li><li>No on-call, weekends, or holidays required</li><li>Applicants who previously worked at this facility must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to consideration</li><li>Clocking in and out required on site</li><li>Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local</li><li>Only candidates able to take full patient caseload by day 3 will be considered</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active WI Physical Therapy license required by the start date; license required if applicable</li><li>BLS (AHA) certification required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of post-education experience as a PT; 3 years preferred</li><li>Experience in an acute and/or outpatient setting required; inpatient experience strongly preferred but candidates with only outpatient experience will be considered</li><li>Ability to handle a busy, fast-paced environment</li><li>Prior Cerner EMR experience preferred</li><li>Two recent professional references required, including at least one supervisor reference</li></ul>
