The staff and managers were very friendly to me as a traveler when I was there. The OR is setup very well and organized. It was very easy to learn and adjust to the new setting. They do have a dedicated trauma OR and they get a high amount of trauma cases. So if you like trauma or need the experience I recommend this place. The call can be a little heavy, but it is not horrible. The hospital is located in a good area. Has plenty of parking. The cafeteria is nice and is open on night shift hours too! The hospital treated their employees and travelers well during my time there.

This company is in financial crisis. But the people rock and the docs are very collaborative with nursing. Emergent hospital, not so many devices as you would see at a transplant center, but the ones you do see can be quite sick

CCU - Coronary Care

Generally nice staff and patient population. Team nursing, so as per usual they tell you to take lunch breaks but you dont get the support to get caught up or actual nurse coverage to take a real lunch break. Nice location.

Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 
• Call requirements: 1-2 weeknight calls per week and 2 weekend calls per 6-week pay cycle 
• Holiday call requirements apply 
• Call response time is 30 minutes 
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available 
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks 
• Must live within 60-mile radius and submit driver's license 
• Work in department with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite handling 10-20 cases per day on average 
• Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the department 
• Treat patients with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, atrial fibrillation, and flutter 
• Float within department when needed, only extreme circumstances require floating to other zone facilities 
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), RCIS via CCI, ARRT (R) - if no ARRT (R), must obtain CO Fluoro license within one week 
• Must have solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience, EP experience preferred 
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system 
• Complete unit-specific orientation and adhere to scrub color/dress code requirements
