      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS and BLS certification to perform general and vascular ultrasound procedures.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an ultrasonography department focusing on general and vascular ultrasound procedures, excluding ABIs, segmental pressure studies, echo, and breast ultrasound</li><li>Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week</li><li>Serves a range of patient populations per physician specification</li><li>Uses Epic for EMR and charting</li><li>Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures, patient positioning, equipment operation, and submitting images for interpretation</li><li>Expected to practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies</li><li>Must evaluate image quality and ensure timely, accurate communication with the care team</li><li>Permanent staff must have a one-year separation from any prior employment at the facility to be eligible</li><li>Candidates must provide date of birth and last four digits of SSN for consideration</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Current ARDMS registry required</li><li>Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required</li><li>Active state license required if applicable</li><li>Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience, with at least 1 year in the specific specialty</li><li>Associate’s Degree required</li><li>Proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound procedures (excluding ABIs and segmental pressure)</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Experience with Epic EMR preferred</li></ul>

-American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (S) or ARDMS registry is required.

-BLS - American Heart Association.
