<h2>Job Description</h2>
 American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for overnight shifts with a 7 on/7 off schedule and ARRT (CT) certification required.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Position is in a hospital CT department</li><li>Works a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, mixing 8- and 12-hour night shifts</li><li>Shift times: Wed-Fri 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Sat-Tues 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM</li><li>No call requirements</li><li>Required to work every other weekend</li><li>Works with Toshiba or Canon CT scanners</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred</li><li>Performs CT studies according to established protocols and tailors exams based on patient history and radiologist instruction</li><li>Administers IV and oral contrast material as necessary per protocol</li><li>Monitors and documents patient condition and all relevant data throughout procedures</li><li>Implements radiation protection measures for patients and staff</li><li>Assists radiologist in sterile procedures and can recognize and respond to allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions</li><li>Scrub attire or professional dress code as required by department</li><li>Candidates must submit all scheduling requests with initial application, as changes after offer will not be accepted</li><li>Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment</li></ul>

 <ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required</li><li>Active ARRT (CT) certification required</li><li>Active American Heart Association BLS required</li><li>Proficiency in venipuncture and sterile technique required</li><li>Experience with Toshiba or Canon CT scanners highly preferred</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred</li><li>Travel work experience preferred</li><li>Completion of a CT-specific skills checklist within the past year required</li><li>Two supervisory references from the past two years required</li><li>Will not consider local candidates within a 50-mile radius</li><li>No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul>

Job Details:
