<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency across a wide range of IR procedures.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Interventional Radiology unit</li><li>4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM</li><li>Weekend rotation may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs</li><li>Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)</li><li>Potential to float between sister facilities within the state</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience required</li><li>Current ACLS and BLS certification</li><li>Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Proficiency in abdominal and pelvic procedures including angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, embolization, ERCP, IVC filter placement/removal, IVC cavagram, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, paracentesis, pelvic and renal angiography, selective visceral angiography, stent placement, superior vena cavogram, and thoracentesis</li><li>Proficiency in genitourinary studies and procedures including adrenal and renal angiography, cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, embolization, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, renal artery and ureteral stent placement, and uterine arterial embolization</li><li>Experience with vascular studies, endovascular interventions, and procedural responsibilities such as equipment setup, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbed</li><li>Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures spanning vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic specialties</li><li>Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, and scrubbing in to maintain a sterile field</li><li>Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius</li><li>Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility</li><li>First-time travelers may be considered</li><li>All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process</li></ul>
