<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 2x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 24 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Dec 14, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(MR), ARRT(R), BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Radiology/Cardiology MRI Tech position in an adult acute care, ICU, and outpatient setting</li><li>2x12-hour day shifts</li><li>No weekend or on-call requirements</li><li>Regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required</li><li>Performs imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, diffusion, and perfusion studies</li><li>Uses GE and Philips MRI equipment</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>ARRT(MR) and ARRT(R) certifications required</li><li>BLS preferred</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required</li><li>Epic charting experience required</li><li>Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs</li><li>Proficiency in a wide range of MRI procedures across abdominal, neuro, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging</li><li>Both Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact license) required at time of consideration due to floating requirements</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers accepted</li><li>Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible</li><li>RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days</li><li>Must have no employment gaps greater than 90 days in the past year</li><li>Returning staff must have at least an 18-month tenure with a 3-month break in service</li><li>Permanent BJC or Saint Luke's employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler</li><li>Compliance documentation due 2 Fridays before start date, with 10-15 hours of training modules required prior to start</li></ul>
