A great place
Everyone was friendly. The staff was great to work with. It was a great place for pts to heal. The nurses and other staff cared about their jobs. Administration was supportive. It was a great experience and… I couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Pros
5:1 ratio, good scheduling, EPIC charting, decent providers, fluent orientation process, great outdoor life, mountain biking/hiking, four hours away from Glacier National Park.
Cons
Charge nurses/core staff are petty about little things, they will write you up without telling you (all the while being completely pleasant to your face), build this “rap sheet” on you and then whenever they feel like officially writing you up they contact your company instead of coming to you in person about it. Example: I toke a personal phone call outside of the patient care area for five minutes and was written up for it. Personally had a friend get fired just because a provider didn’t care for him, reported him for not showering a patient when he was on a 5:1 day shift without a CNA that day.
