      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and an active PT license for an acute care position.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an acute care setting treating patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically-related disorders</li><li>Service includes a variety of therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education</li><li>Patient population comprises those requiring strengthening, modalities, training in daily living activities, and other rehabilitative therapies</li><li>Work standard 8-hour day shifts with required flexibility for weekends and holidays</li><li>Floating to other areas or sites may be required based on staffing needs</li><li>Epic EMR is used for documentation</li><li>Responsibilities include patient education in home safety, use of adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques</li><li>Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills</li><li>12 hours of orientation are provided and clinicians must be in-state for orientation, even if first-day modules are remote</li><li>Current employees or those employed in the past year at a related facility are not eligible</li><li>Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility based on the address on driver’s license</li><li>Scrub or professional dress code may be required; verify at assignment</li><li>Weekend and holiday coverage as needed</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, with preference for direct care experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab units</li><li>Current BLS certification is required</li><li>Active state or Compact (NLC) Physical Therapist license required at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted</li><li>Copy of driver's license must be provided</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Dry Needling Certification or education required only if performing dry needling</li><li>Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably Epic</li><li>Two professional references: one supervisor from within the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years</li></ul>
