      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and active ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory</li><li>Support invasive cardiovascular procedures including radiological cardiac and vascular interventions</li><li>Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week</li><li>Adult patient population</li><li>Uses Epic charting for EMR documentation</li><li>Operates imaging equipment and assists as scrub during procedures</li><li>Provide technical and patient care support under RN supervision during invasive cardiovascular procedures</li><li>Assist physicians in imaging and act as scrub while maintaining sterile field</li><li>Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations</li><li>Maintain unit cleanliness and ensure appropriate stock for complex interventions</li><li>Document patient progression and procedures according to department standards</li><li>Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives</li><li>Must be permanently separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible</li><li>Dress code and scrub requirements to be communicated upon assignment</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Cath Lab or invasive cardiovascular procedures</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred</li><li>Active ARRT, RCIS, RCES, or CV-specific RRT certification required within 18 months of hire</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, active and not expiring before start</li><li>Fluoroscopy Certification required</li><li>Must supply radiation badges</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Experience using Epic EMR preferred</li><li>DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration</li><li>No pending license accepted at time of consideration</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Position is based in an interventional radiology department</li><li>Primary focus is on vascular, neuro, and interventional radiology procedures</li><li>Patient population includes those requiring angiography, SIRT mapping, embolizations, neph and biliary tube placements, and CT-guided interventions</li><li>Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week</li><li>Use of advanced imaging equipment and Epic EMR</li><li>Personal radiation dosimeter badge is required for assignment</li><li>Responsibilities include performing and assisting with a range of interventional and vascular procedures, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining safety standards</li><li>May function as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring technologist during procedures</li><li>Must maintain current licensure and required certifications at all times</li><li>Adheres to strict infection control, patient identification, and radiation safety protocols</li><li>Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facilities for at least one year prior to travel assignment eligibility</li><li>Participation in emergency response as needed, including provision of life support</li></ul>
