      <p>American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and pediatric expertise for a Level II acute care setting utilizing Epic EMR.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in an acute care hospital environment</li><li>Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30am to 5pm, totaling 40 hours per week</li><li>Occasional weekend shift required every 4-6 weeks</li><li>Patient population may include individuals of all ages with a wide variety of diagnoses and disorders</li><li>Pediatric experience is required</li><li>EpicCare Inpatient EMR is used for charting; prior Epic experience is preferred</li><li>Responsibilities include evaluating and treating clients with functional, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental impairments</li><li>Develop therapy goals, administer occupational therapy programs, and provide client education to improve functional outcomes</li><li>Documentation must comply with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements</li><li>May supervise assistants, aides, or students involved in patient care</li><li>Orientation support provided by physical and occupational therapy colleagues</li><li>Dress code includes grey scrubs or business casual attire</li><li>Trauma Level II facility</li><li>Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles are not eligible</li><li>Disclosure required if previously employed by Sanford Health, with six-month minimum break</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Work in the Labor &amp; Delivery unit of an acute care hospital</li><li>Unit accommodates 19 beds and is designated as Trauma Level 2</li><li>Patient ratios include 1:1 or 1:2 for L&amp;D, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, and up to 1:5-6 for mixed assignments</li><li>Uses fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, OBIX documentation, and Epic EMR for charting</li><li>Schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts with some days, including every other weekend and holiday</li><li>Floating to newborn nursery and NICU as needed</li><li>Care responsibilities include high-risk labor and delivery, postpartum mom and baby, and postoperative gyn surgical patients</li><li>Travelers receive 36 hours of orientation</li><li>Navy blue scrubs required for gyn and mom/baby; hospital-provided scrubs for L&amp;D</li><li>Must badge in and out at the facility</li><li>All previous Sanford Health employees must have an employment separation date at least 6 months prior to consideration</li><li>Candidates with permanent addresses within 80 miles are not accepted as travelers</li></ul>
