I worked at the Cardiac/Heart Center and some of the Charge Nurses straight out made several comments about how Travel Nurses should get the heavier patients and heavier loads bc"Travel Nurses make the BIG money"... they also ONLY float Travelers. I did a 12-Night stretch a couple of times and twice I floated 10 of those 12 nights, while Core Staff and other Travel Nurses say in there butts and NEVER floated bc they don't keep track of who floats, they just go down their (alphabetical) list and my last name is the first one on there.

Somewhat Traveller Friendly

OR manager was very good and surgical staff are good. Anesthesia staff are pleasant and competent but do expect more assistance from RNs than I’ve seen at other facilities. Doctors overall are very friendly and a pleasure to work with except one. Call requirements were the worst.

OR - Operating Room

Little to no communication, especially among upper Management/Administration!  Morale low.  Need educators and HR involvement with discipline and follow through!!  Typical of Reddy facilities!!

House Supervisor

Worst, most non traveler friendly place I have ever worked.  Pretty area, but nurses are not welcoming.

The worst contract I have ever worked. Staff was awful, the culture of the city should be made into a horror film

This place is a nightmare!! Anesthesia is helpless for the most part. I’m convinced one of them is the Devil!! They can’t keep staff except for the old bossy ones.

Stay away!!!
