      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Alabaster, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an Alabama or Compact RN license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Day shift position with hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM on a 3x12 schedule</li><li>51-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit on the 3rd floor</li><li>Patient population includes Med/Surg, orthopedic, and telemetry patients</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:6</li><li>Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, and BiPAP</li><li>EMR is Epic</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Floating required to like units within scope, including facilities within a 25-mile radius</li><li>13-week contract</li><li>Navy scrubs required</li><li>Nail polish is not permitted</li><li>AHA-issued certifications only — American Red Cross certifications are not accepted</li><li>Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 252-bed faith-based facility managed by Orlando Health</li><li>Facility is a recognized Primary Stroke Center with capabilities in cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and surgical care</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active AL or Compact RN license required</li><li>Current BLS certification (AHA only) required</li><li>Current NIHSS certification (AHA only) required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg, orthopedic, and telemetry experience required</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li></ul>
