Worked as a medical unit traveler. 17 bed unit. Floated a few times to be sitter in ED or work in rehab. CNAs did vitals when we had CNAs. Lab and respiratory available day and night. Communication with doctors was easy. Overall, good teamwork. The area is amazing if you like nature. The coastline is sublime, the giant redwoods are nearby, lots of hiking trails, cliffs and mountains nearby. The town is smaller, leans conservative, a few good restaurants, a small movie theatre, a few coffee shops and Starbucks. Not a whole lot to do unless you love nature. The Smith river is nearby and is blue/green clear water for swimming, whitewater rafting when weather is warmer. One of the cleanest rivers you will ever see.
