<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: May 4, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience, including Ortho and Spine, with Epic proficiency and the ability to both circulate and scrub.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work setting is a standard community hospital surgical environment with 40% inpatient and 60% ambulatory/outpatient cases</li><li>Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients</li><li>Circulator responsibilities cover ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Ortho, Plastics, Pre-op, and Post-op</li><li>Scrub responsibilities include Vascular cases</li><li>CVOR, neuro, and robotics experience are not required</li><li>Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3x12-hour day shifts (0700–1930)</li><li>On-call is required, averaging approximately 6–7 eight-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule (roughly 48–56 hours per 6 weeks), with variability based on staff coverage</li><li>Epic EMR experience is required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WA state or compact RN license required</li><li>Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years of OR experience required</li><li>Experience in Ortho and Spine is required; experience in Vascular, ENT, General, and GYN is also required</li><li>Proficient scrub skills preferred, though total joint scrub experience is not required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting required for consideration</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Previous permanent staff of this health system are not eligible to work here as travelers — no exceptions, regardless of time elapsed, and this applies to all OR units and OR specialties</li><li>All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination</li><li>Minimal RTO is expected; significant time-off requests may impact the hiring process</li><li>All RTO requests must be submitted upfront — requests made after submission or offer may be denied</li></ul>
