      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring at least two years of LDRP, L&amp;D, postpartum, and newborn care experience and a current WA or compact RN license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in the Labor and Delivery unit providing care for laboring, antepartum, postpartum, OB triage, and normal newborn patients</li><li>Staffing ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3</li><li>Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30)</li><li>Required to float as needed between facilities within the state</li><li>Special procedures include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OR circulation, adult IV starts, administration of blood products, management of drains and epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and magnesium sulfate</li><li>Care includes couplet care and high-risk obstetric situations</li><li>Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required</li><li>Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care across intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn populations, circulating in the OR, and administering specialized obstetric medications</li><li>Former perm staff of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated for at least 3 months before taking a travel assignment</li><li>Travelers may be assigned to float between multiple facilities across the state as needed</li><li>Compliance with scheduling and RTO policies is required; minimal RTO is preferred and all requests must be addressed before assignment confirmation</li><li>Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility</li><li>Minimum of two recent supervisory references within the specialty is required for consideration</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active WA or compact state RN license</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care</li><li>Certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and NRP; ACLS preferred</li><li>Experience with circulating in C-sections and fetal heart monitoring required</li><li>Ability to start IVs and manage specialized obstetric procedures</li></ul>
