      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a cardiac catheterization lab role requiring a minimum of 2 years’ experience and expertise with interventional cardiac procedures.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab with 3 labs and 1 hybrid OR</li><li>Performs cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella, PTCA, ventricular assist device insertion, and more</li><li>Uses Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and Pyxis medication system</li><li>Documentation is completed in Epic and McKesson; Epic experience required</li><li>3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM</li><li>On-call required with typical coverage of 6 evenings and 1 weekend per 6 weeks, 30-minute response time required</li><li>Must float between facilities within the state as needed</li><li>Responsibilities include accurate monitoring and preparation for cardiac interventions, maintaining a sterile field, acting as room circulator, and procedural scrubbing</li><li>Some procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and OCT are preferred but not required</li><li>Scrubs are provided</li><li>All on-call assignments require a 30-minute response time from when called in</li><li>Not eligible for candidates within 50 miles of the facility</li><li>Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months after separation before returning as a traveler</li><li>Minimal to no RTO is permitted; all RTO must be discussed prior to consideration</li><li>Holiday and weekend on-call coverage may be required</li><li>COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be requested</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Minimum of 2 years recent experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings</li><li>Able to perform required cardiac cath lab procedures, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, vascular closure systems, and life-threatening arrhythmia recognition</li><li>Experience with Siemens fluoroscopy, Epic, and Pyxis required</li><li>Isolation precautions expertise required</li><li>Must not be a first-time traveler</li><li>References: 2 supervisory references covering 1 year in the last 3 years, within a comparable specialty/setting</li><li>Required certifications must be current and available for consideration</li><li>SSN and DOB required for consideration</li><li>License required if applicable</li></ul>
