Cath lab going through staff overhaul, changing management, new team of interventional cardiologists, etc made for inconsistent workflow and supplies, hours, etc. Manager is very nice, but comes from IR background. Director is not clinical, just an MBA.

Short staffed ratio is 3:1 especially on nights. A lot of floating never getting to stay in the unit.

Trauma ICU

Long Term Acute Care

Level 1 hospital with very acutely ill patients and 6:1 ratios on med surg floors on days, sometimes 7:1 on nights. PCU ratios 5:1. Very little support from management or upper level staff. Very numbers/money focused. Large PCT ratios 16:1. Difficult to deliver safe care. Got out as soon as my contract ended.

Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Not a good place to work, at least not in case management

Extremely disorganized. Hire you on then try to change your entire schedule, short your hours, ask you to do unsafe practices and gaslight you if you stand up for your patients. The worst hospital I've ever worked at.
