Great place to work. They treat travelers like their own

Work environment was top notch. One hour lunches, 1:4 ratio (sometimes 1:3), good orientation period that included a week of training, flexible management that want the best for staff. Schedule flexibility very accommodating to day off requests when notified in advance. 

Compensation: Very well. Good pay, I sometimes would not meet my hour requirements because the clinic does slow time in the afternoon, in which staff starts to get cut. 

Culture: hands down one of the best teams I will ever work with. The best preceptors, supporting staff, with the best teamwork. They genuinely made me love the job and want to stick with outpatient infusion jobs.

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery position with high-risk antepartum care and float requirements, requiring a WA or Compact RN license and advanced certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital Labor &amp; Delivery unit specializing in high-risk antepartum care</li><li>Patient population includes PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, substance use disorder during pregnancy, and fetal loss</li><li>Floating required to the Postpartum unit and potentially to other facilities within the state</li><li>Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)</li><li>No newborns cared for on this unit</li><li>Epic EMR system is used and requires experience</li><li>Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and managing central lines and medication drips</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Scrubs of any color are allowed; scrubs are provided when floated to L&amp;D units</li><li>Former permanent staff must wait three months before returning as a traveler and cannot work within 50 miles of a previous facility</li><li>Minimal to no requested time off is preferred; RTO requests may affect consideration</li><li>Travelers must be willing to float as assigned</li><li>COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required</li><li>References and documentation must be provided for consideration</li></ul>
