Great place to work. They treat travelers like their own

Work environment was top notch. One hour lunches, 1:4 ratio (sometimes 1:3), good orientation period that included a week of training, flexible management that want the best for staff. Schedule flexibility very accommodating to day off requests when notified in advance. 

Compensation: Very well. Good pay, I sometimes would not meet my hour requirements because the clinic does slow time in the afternoon, in which staff starts to get cut. 

Culture: hands down one of the best teams I will ever work with. The best preceptors, supporting staff, with the best teamwork. They genuinely made me love the job and want to stick with outpatient infusion jobs. 

My best and most favorite assigment thus far. :)

      <p>American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging clinic, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active WA license.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an outpatient breast imaging clinic within a medical office building</li><li>Primarily adult and geriatric patient population</li><li>Duties include screening and diagnostic mammography procedures</li><li>Procedures performed include 3D mammography, digital mammograms, diagnostic and screening mammograms</li><li>Experience with Hologic equipment is preferred</li><li>EPIC EMR skills required</li><li>Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with a weekday off varying based on unit needs; no weekends or holidays</li><li>Candidates may be required to float between facilities within the state</li><li>Primary duties include conducting 3D, digital, screening, and diagnostic mammograms</li><li>Orientation provided and scheduled for 8 hours</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Returning staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have a 3-month separation before applying as a traveler</li><li>Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts</li><li>Minimal time off preferred and must be discussed in advance</li><li>All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state</li><li>Scrubs of any color are permitted</li></ul>

            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Hospital Labor &amp; Delivery unit with high volume and high acuity cases</li><li>Serves midwifery clients, private OBs, adult recovery populations, and community care clinics</li><li>Unit features 31 rooms, 31 beds, and averages 500-600 deliveries per month</li><li>Responsibilities include circulating and functioning as Baby Nurse during deliveries</li><li>Required to float to Postpartum and Antepartum units, and may float to nearby Mother/Baby units in sister facilities</li><li>Shift is night (3x12-hour shifts) from 19:00 to 07:30</li><li>Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs</li><li>Electronic charting with Epic is required</li><li>Role includes administering heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate as needed</li><li>Must follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing and patient care</li><li>First-time travelers will not be considered</li><li>Holiday and every other weekend work required as scheduled</li><li>All travelers are expected to float to other campuses within the state as needed</li><li>Former perm staff from other Providence facilities must have a minimum 3-month separation before applying as travelers</li><li>Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility</li><li>Pre-approved time off is reviewed case by case; extensive RTO may affect consideration</li><li>Proper scrub attire in accordance with hospital policy is required</li></ul>
