Culture is awful. Everyone is more focused on protecting themselves than the safety of the patients. Everyone is in a bad mood all the time. People speak to each other so unprofessionally. There is a lack of equipment and the equipment they do have barely functions. You can count on having 5-6 patients every shift. They treat travelers terribly. The unspoken rule is that travelers get the most patients/worst assignment and always the first admit. All travelers go into float pool and the float pool manager is awful— very unkind and difficult to work with. They make you work every other weekend, every other Monday/Friday, and No Wednesdays— you end up never getting more than 1-2 days off in a row. Avoid it if you can, but don’t get sucked in to staying for more than one contract.
