Don’t do it! Run the opposite way as far as you can! Dumpster fire doesn’t even begin to describe this facility. If you value your license, don’t work there.

I’d leave zero stars if I could

Management is always changing, they don’t communicate beteeen new and old. They agreed to weekend block scheduling and the new manager changed it while I was on vacation and then I got Covid reported it and they cut my contract bc I had to miss due to they wouldn’t let me back. They understaff and not safe working load. The patients given are not appropriate for nursing care. They move tele nurses to PCU who have not worked there with PCU patients that they don’t know how to care for. They are quick to fire regular staff for any small thing.

Def not a great place

No proper training, management makes excuses, dangerously short staffed, pay is the lowest in the area, you will work your day off or get bullied.

Trident is trash in every way

Dialysis

7:1 almost every day
Charge takes 7 patients as well.
Very difficult to get sitters for patients.
No phlebotomy.
Everyone seems to be struggling every day.

CVICU

VERY unsafe- patient ratios, lack of necessary training, and no help. You get the worst assignments, often in areas/patients in which you have zero experience- even though you tell them, they don't care. They have no ancillary staff so you're expected to answer every phone call, draw every lab, empty every trashcan and clean every room. If you value patient care, THEIR safety and your license, avoid this place at ALL cost!

Unsafe, management does not care for staff, and they send you to areas where you have no experience.

Your license is at risk here! Patient and staff safety are totally disregarded! 7 patients per nurse is often the ratio. Don't bother voicing your concerns about, it will fall upon deaf ears. Charge nurses have almost no experience.

The worst

Avoid this hospital like the plague.  Simply dangerous. No thoughts of the patients or staff, continuously high census and low staff.  Limited working equipment and charge nurses with little to no experience.  Absolute train wreck!

Any traveler could be sent to the emergency department to care for inpatients holds. Could be floated in work in the telemetry monitoring room or PCU.·         Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report is our method of patient hand off, AIDET and RN/MD roundingHospital Specifics-·         Certifications: BLS &amp; ACLS

Must have: Ability to care for 6 Telemetry patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD or Ablations. Proficient in reading telemetry strips.  Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education.


Advanced skills needed:
·         Phlebotomy
·         Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments: inhalers and nebulizers)
·         Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal)
·         Telemetry and Post Cath Lab patients
·         Management of Cardiac Drips (Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine)


Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS required, NIH stroke scale certification required. HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional
