My first time as a traveler and I’m currently on a second contract but in Phoenix and all I can say I would leave the money as a traveler to work there as core staff! The teams and charge nurses are amazing and I’m only speak about the 2nd floor. I can’t wait to go back one day. This hospital doesn’t see you just as staff but truly as family

Pretty busy but good place

NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Cath lab covers cardiac, IR, and neuro.  Huge structural heart program.  They do have scheduled cases on weekends that the call team is forced to do.  Physicians are catered to and can work the call team as long as they want at any hour with any case they feel like doing, not just emergencies.

Come here is you want good pay with overtime available pretty much every week, the original version of epic that has not been updated since the early 2000’s, 30 min lunch breaks once a month, dilapidated protocols, bitter core staff, providers who won’t sign up for patients, poor quality equipment, and a management group that’s almost insufferable.

Pay is good the medicine is not

Toxic; outrageous expectations, 7:1 busy med surg dumping ground. Staff rude and unhelpful to travel nurses.
