<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 4x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 48 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 26 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of Medical and Surgical ICU experience for a night shift position requiring Epic proficiency and an active MA RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Community hospital ICU setting</li><li>Medical ICU and Surgical ICU patient population</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:2</li><li>Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)</li><li>Every third weekend required (Friday and Saturday)</li><li>Float to the ED for boarders on an as-needed basis</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>36 hours per week position; 48 hours per week also available</li><li>Contract lengths of 13 or 26 weeks are accepted</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active, permanent MA RN license required</li><li>Current ACLS and BLS certifications required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, with both Medical ICU and Surgical ICU background</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Community hospital experience required</li><li>Proficiency with advanced ICU skills including arterial line management, central line care, PICC line management, ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, continuous IV sedation and paralytic management, and interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias</li><li>Two professional references required, at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Two pass/fail exams are required during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation</li><li>Study materials are provided during the compliance process and facility orientation</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for a travel assignment; local candidates within 200 miles are accepted at the same bill rate</li><li>Candidates who have worked within the health system must have a minimum 12-month separation before being eligible</li><li>Up to 14 days of RTO may be requested for review; no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment</li><li>This is a union facility — no special scheduling accommodations can be made, and candidates must be available to work all 7 days of the week</li></ul>

<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry unit position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of telemetry nursing experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Hospital-based Telemetry unit</li><li>Cardiac telemetry and MS/Tele patient population</li><li>Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:45-7:15</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>May float to the ED for boarder patients as needed</li><li>13-week assignment length</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active MA RN license in hand required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of RN experience required</li><li>BLS certification required, ACLS preferred</li><li>Epic charting experience preferred</li><li>Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration</li><li>Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams</li><li>Experience with chest tube management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, and tracheostomy care</li><li>Experience with continuous bladder irrigation, hemodialysis management, and renal failure care</li><li>Experience with wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, and pre/post cardiac cath care</li><li>Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and nursing care on a hospital telemetry unit</li><li>Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days</li><li>Required to complete a pass/fail Telemetry test and a pass/fail Medication exam during orientation, each requiring a passing score to remain on assignment</li><li>Complete pre-start and orientation modules, with modules also required annually</li><li>Candidates should be mindful of limited RTO availability during summer months on this unit</li><li>Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 200-mile radius</li><li>Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system</li><li>Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for consideration</li></ul>
