      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking an RN for an inpatient rehab position, requiring a NY RN license and at least one year of acute rehab experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in an inpatient rehab unit with a focus on patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injuries</li><li>Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00</li><li>Every other weekend coverage is required</li><li>Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:12 on nights</li><li>Must be willing to float to med-surg units</li><li>Use of Hoyer Lift and sit-to-stand lift equipment</li><li>Epic EMR system is preferred but not required</li><li>No local candidates within a 75-mile radius will be considered</li><li>Primary responsibilities include providing nursing care to adults with neurological and spinal injuries in a rehab setting</li><li>Block scheduling requests may be considered, but not guaranteed</li><li>Requesting more than 1 week of time off during the contract is not permitted</li><li>Maximum of 3 call-off shifts permitted per 13-week assignment</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active NY RN license required, no pending licenses accepted</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required</li><li>Minimum of 1 year acute rehab nursing experience required</li><li>Experience with CVA (cerebrovascular accident) patient care</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li></ul>
