RN - Med Surg

Job Details:
• Same day interviews available 
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care 
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses 
• Every other weekend schedule 
• No on-call responsibilities 
• 16 hours NBO (nights, weekends, holidays) 
• EMR system: EPIC 
• Overtime rate: 1.15x multiplier after 40 hours/week 
• Call back rate: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hour minimum 
• Holiday requirements: Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) 
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 
• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg experience required 
• At least 1 travel contract completion required 
• Required certification: BLS (AHA) 
• Wisconsin nursing license required 
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility 
• Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission 
• Supervisory reference required at time of submission

 American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience and an active WI or compact RN license.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Position is on a Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting</li><li>Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed</li><li>Epic EMR is used on this unit</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Must provide at least one supervisory reference from within the past 2 years</li><li>All travelers are required to work two out of three winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)</li><li>Only one day off may be requested between 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2 for all travelers</li></ul>
