Really love my time at U of M! Have been there twice, and each time I extended till cold weather hit! The only thing I didn't like was having to take a bus from the parking area to the hospital and back. Enjoyed the staff, the complexity of the cases, having regular breaks and lunches, and the hospital wide perks and celebrations that included travelers!

Telemetry

I love it here. This was my 3 contract and I’ve completed a year. I plan to take my break and definitely come back. They definitely make sure there is work/life balance. The downside for travelers is the call sucks. But all in all highly recommend. The case load is not bad and there is a great variety to be able to keep up all your skills.

Staff very welcoming, management was very kind as well, and surprisingly flexible/fair with scheduling. Ratios are excellent and acuity based. The down star rating is related  to the parking situation, and the general lack of NAs/Techs. I personally disagree with having staff pay to park for work let alone take multiple shuttles in some cases.
