Critically thinking as a RN A skill we are expected to do everywhere but here !
Critical thinking as a nurse here is not allowed. Even if it means pt safety issue. Unsafe work practices daily. Not enough linens to change bed daily. Patients are not bathed but maybe once a week. It’s so sad for our vets. I’m a vet too and when I gave my daily baths it was frowned upon. Overall I got a great check because it was a gov contract. The caliber of care we were giving the vet was disgusting and it wore on me. I worked out the contract and left. I can’t with good conscience keep working there.
The staff is MEAN
This facility has a high infection rating, the staff is new with no OR experience, and the staff bad mouths everyone. The patients and doctors are amazing though.
