Working here was quite the experience. First and foremost, the surgeons were decent to work with. The staff on the other hand were quite awful and ignorant. A lot of them went out of their way to drag you through the mud. They are super ignorant about their surgical supply as well and they didn’t take well to anyone saying different. I won’t lie, leaving this facility daily felt like you were leaving prison. The daylight greeting you with absolute freedom. The manager also would make changes to the schedule and then forget that she ever did unless you have proof.

Education:

* RN with current Colorado license
* BLS
* ACLS
* Preferred: Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy

Experience:

* Radiation Oncology experience preferred, but not required.

* Ability to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team with written and verbal proficiency.
* Ability to coordinate oncology patient care with other interdisciplinary staff.
* Flexibility and highly organized
* Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients of varying age groups, human development stages, and cultural groups.
* Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management.
* Current knowledge of latest trends, skills, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice
* Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity information.

SALARY RANGE

* $33.99 to $49.98/hour (BSN)
* Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
