CMH ER was a wonderful facility for a travel contract. They respect their travellers and have amazing ameneties for being in the middle of nowhere and the 'clique' on night shift got to be too much. I would have renewed except the manager was not willing to block my schedule. Other than that, wonderful physicians, fellow nurses, and facilities.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts per week 
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends 
• 72-hour orientation required 
• Weekend coverage required 
• Float within scope if needed 
• Care for patients aged adolescents through geriatrics 
• Daily census of 4-6 patients in 10-bed unit 
• 3 years of nursing experience required, minimum 1 year ICU experience 
• Previous charge experience preferred 
• BSN preferred 
• Virginia or compact state nursing license required and must be in hand at time of submittal 
• EPIC charting experience required 
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS 
• Natural nail policy must be followed 
• Complete orientation modules on VCU Learning Exchange during orientation week 
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and care of critically ill patients with multisystem organ dysfunction 
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

 American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a VA or compact license and recent ICU experience.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in the ICU of a community hospital setting</li><li>Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00</li><li>Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience required</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate</li><li>Must not have been employed by the specified health system in the previous six months</li><li>Facility is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace</li><li>Compliance with a natural nail policy is required</li><li>Time-off requests must be submitted for consideration; holidays off are not guaranteed</li><li>All candidates must undergo fingerprinting and receive cleared results before starting</li></ul>
