      <p>American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active KS or compact RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Position is in a combined Medical and Surgical unit with 50 beds, serving general medical, cardiology, pulmonary, neurology, nephrology, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and ENT patients</li><li>Staffing ratio goal is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights</li><li>Hospitalist coverage available 24 hours</li><li>Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 with every other weekend required</li><li>13-week assignment with 36 hours per week</li><li>Responsibilities include care for a diverse Med/Surg patient population including post-surgical and complex medical cases</li><li>MOAB De-Escalation Training and NIH Certification recommended</li><li>COVID-19 vaccination is not required</li><li>All positions are auto offer</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate as per state-specific radius rules</li><li>Two references and skills checklist required for consideration</li><li>Must request any time off at submission</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active KS RN license or compact multistate RN license</li><li>At least 1 year of hospital RN experience</li><li>Current AHA BLS certification</li><li>Nursys verification and license/certificate primary source verification within 30 days prior to start</li><li>Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address</li><li>Driver’s License required</li></ul>
