Pros
Very easy work. Basic ortho cases, general, podietry, and urology. Also will do endo and will phase 1 PACU your own patient. Two ORs and endo room.
Cons
Contract signed was for 4 10s and they told me when I got there it was 5 8s. Cancelled a lot of contracts while I was there. Didn’t explain I would be responsible to do phase 1 recovery myself on my patient and when on call you will not have a second nurse and anesthesia will not stay with you. If the patient is being discharged and the floor doesn’t have a nurse they will also make you do phase 2 and discharge that patient. Pre op will not do blocks so you will also be responsible for doing that before going back to OR.
Pros
Traveler friendly, helpful staff, lots of outdoors/hiking nearby, fairly priced cost of living
Cons
Small-rural setting, few doctors/mid levels available on site.
Great Place and Staff to work with
I had a phenomenal experience. My agency and recruiter Shannon were amazing
Pros
Peasant crew to work with
Cons
Winters can make traveling tough. A lot of call.
