What a great place to work.  I didn't really like being so far from home but they made me feel very comfortable.Everyone worked well together. Sue Bell is such a great manager . The team huddles first thing every morning to address any issues with patient care . It really is a great idea. Always felt like she was there for you. A+ team in York Wellspan  EEG department.

Loved working at York. They bust ass as a team. Definitely going to work and see some complex cases. Docs and staff were great to work with. When I was there, you had to rotate thru the pre/post area usually once a week. Not bad though, staff in holding area was friendly and helpful.

Initial rate was great, started the job and within 4 weeks got notified of a decrease in rate or submit two weeks notice. Also cut all OT for travelers. Supplied well, lots of specialities, teaching hospital, well staffed.

I joined WellSpan in York as my first contract. I think it was a good place to start. The hiring manager checks in to see how its going, they have IV team, phleb, and a rapid response team. Giving 3/5 stars for work environment because most of the time charge RN has a full team of patients and you get up to 6 patients. If you need help its hard when charge also has a team to worry about.

Probably the most hostile environment I’ve ever worked in. The drama and the gossip from all levels of management this place has.

Worst assignment ever! Poor management! The hospital is so behind in medicine. The staff are awful! Treat travelers terrible! Poor patient care!

Job Details:
• Work Saturday, Sunday, Monday schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 
• Minimum 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience required 
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) 
• EPIC charting system experience required 
• GE equipment experience required 
• Maximum 7-day return to offer policy 
• No call requirements 
• Holiday coverage as needed 
• No floating required 
• Skills include adult acute care, adult outpatient, abdomen, breast, chest imaging 
• Experience with PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment
