<p>• Must have current ARRT certification in CT<br />
• Perform diagnostic CT examinations of all body parts for interpretation<br />
• Provide care appropriate to patients of all ages from newborn to geriatric<br />
• Exercise professional judgment applying radiation protection principles<br />
• Maintain patient records and departmental quality assurance programs<br />
• Take call and report to work within 20 minutes when needed<br />
• Rotate shifts as required<br />
• Perform duties in multiple imaging modalities including ultrasound, MRI, mammography<br />
• Assist with invasive procedures and contrast administration<br />
• Operate automatic injector and maintain sterile technique<br />
• Complete daily and weekly quality control procedures<br />
• Participate in department meetings, in-services, and disaster drills<br />
• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address<br />
• Start date minimum 5 weeks after fingerprint processing completion<br />

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT/X-ray Radiology Technologist with ARRT or ARDMS certification and clinical competency in diagnostic imaging.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital radiology department providing diagnostic imaging services in both CT and general radiography</li><li>Patient population spans from newborns to geriatric adults</li><li>Shift may include day or night hours with on-call responsibility and the requirement to report within 20 minutes when called</li><li>Potential to rotate shifts as required and to work outside the primary imaging modality</li><li>Responsible for both diagnostic medical radiography and CT, including assisting with invasive procedures and venipuncture</li><li>Competency with tele-radiology transmission, automatic injector, and maintaining quality control</li><li>Active participation in departmental supply inventory, equipment care, and record keeping</li><li>Must be able to provide care for patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds</li><li>May be expected to assist with departmental quality assurance and assume departmental responsibility in supervisor absence</li><li>Required to pursue continuing education and maintain competency in additional imaging modalities as directed</li><li>Expected to follow all hospital policies, procedures, ethics, and compliance guidelines</li><li>Must wear scrubs as specified by the department</li><li>First-time travelers will be considered</li><li>Local candidates are accepted as there is no radius restriction</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Work in a long-term care setting with residents of various ages</li><li>Position includes both night shifts and some day shift coverage, with 12-hour shifts</li><li>On-call responsibility rotates weekly among staff, with a required 30-minute response time and presence on the island</li><li>Rotating on-call schedule means each nurse is on-call one out of every three weeks</li><li>Team includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ward clerks</li><li>Coordinate and deliver individualized nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician's orders</li><li>Supervise and delegate responsibilities to CNAs, LPNs, and other support staff during shift</li><li>Participate in patient, family, and staff education as well as care conferences</li><li>Contribute to assessment, develop and implement care plans, and document nursing procedures and responses in the EHR</li><li>Promote infection control practices and uphold nursing standards and policies</li><li>May serve as charge nurse or contact RN when needed in the absence of the DON</li><li>Scrub or dress code must be followed according to facility policy</li><li>Required to attend at least 50% of departmental staff meetings and complete all mandatory competencies and trainings</li></ul>
