Description

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Duties

This position involves working in a Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit dedicated to providing specialized care for critically ill neuro patients. The patient diagnoses include, but are not limited to, traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurological conditions. The unit features a new, state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU designed to facilitate high standards of medical and nursing care.

Job Requirements

Current RN License (New York License ONLY)
Two (2) years of recent experience as an RN in an ICU or acute care setting
Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to stay current with knowledge of critical care practices
Telemetry experience is required

Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
NIHSS certification
