You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome.

Unit Highlights

As a participant in a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, you will have the opportunity to work with many acute and complex patients. Utilizing state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology, the specialty team evaluates, diagnoses, and treats seizures effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
• Utilize critical thinking and nursing skills to assess and manage patient conditions.
• Engage in ongoing education and training related to neurological care and technologies.
• Participate in the treatment planning and implementation for patients with neurological disorders.

Qualifications

• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is necessary.
