Description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Shift Schedule:

5 days a week, 8-hour shifts.
On call/callback/holiday per unit needs.
5-7 call shifts during a 7-week block, including 2-4 weekend call days.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce high-quality radiologic images.
Collaborate effectively with department members to resolve issues promptly.
Exhibit flexibility, compassion, respect, politeness, and accountability when interacting with customers.
Maintain awareness of and sensitivity to patient rights in all patient interactions.

Areas of Emphasis:

Instruct and prepare patients for examinations, assisting the Radiologist during procedures.
Show competence and proficiency in operating all relevant equipment and report any malfunctions to the manager or lead.
