Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated nurses to join a specialized adult medical/surgical unit that caters to patients with co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment.
• Utilize med/surg and psychiatric nursing skills to assess and manage complex patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Adapt to changing patient requirements and care strategies as needed.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
• Experience in psychology is required
• Telemetry experience is preferred

Certifications

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)

Opportunities for Advancement

Nurses in this unit will be eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after fulfilling the experience requirements.
