We are seeking a skilled Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound services and patient care in a high-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound studies including Detailed Anatomy, BPP, Growth assessments, Doppler evaluations, and Twins studies.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in imaging studies, averaging 8-10 studies per day.
• Work collaboratively with a team and demonstrate self-initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) effectively, specifically working with ViewPoint as a go between for EPIC/PACS.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and patient care protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer, specifically in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Required certifications: ARDMS and BLS (AHA) at the time of application.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-risk Maternal Fetal Medicine environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. No weekend or holiday shifts are required.

Department Information

The department is equipped with multiple ultrasound machines across various locations, including Tacoma, Lakewood, Gig Harbor, and Federal Way. Opportunities for floating between these locations may occur as needed.

Additional Notes

• Scrubs of any color are required, but are not provided.
• A valid driver’s license is required upon application.
• Department-specific orientation will be provided alongside an experienced technician.
