Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality care in a Family Birth Place setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for women’s health and neonatal care, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift

This position requires night shifts, specifically 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Unit Overview

The Family Birth Place unit supports an average daily census of:

3 labor patients
3-4 postpartum patients
1-2 Level 2 neonatal patients

The unit is equipped with 17 rooms/beds to accommodate patients.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Required certifications: BCLS and NRP
IV Start skills are required; triage experience is preferred
Open to first-time travelers

Skills and Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for laboring women and their newborns
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
Assist in triage and emergency scenarios
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
