Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Shift Information

• Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Block Schedules: No

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level II nursery setting.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor.
• Assist in triage and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
• Facilitate post-partum care, ensuring both mother and infant are supported during recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or related field.
• Post-Partum experience required.
• Level II Nursery experience required.
• Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.
• IV Start skills are required; triage experience is preferred.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Unit Information

• Average Daily Census: 3 labors, 3-4 post-partum, 1-2 Level II babies.
• Total Rooms/Beds: 17.
