Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Information
- Schedule: Day Shift
- Work Hours: 3 - 12 Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and implement care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in MS/Tele nursing.
- Possession of a current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to the start date.
- One recent reference from a managerial level supervisor (e.g., manager, assistant nurse manager, or director) in the relevant specialty is required for submission.
Orientation
During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and the SafeMedicate assessment. Acceptable scores on both assessments are required to meet competency standards.
Additional Information
Qualivis – Lotus will be utilized for submitting hours worked.
