Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be ready to effectively manage emergencies while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
- 36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed
- Must be willing to float to similar units or related settings as needed
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the specific needs of the facility.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active state license to practice (Arizona) - must be verified in the last 30 days
- No disciplinary actions on state license to practice
- Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Certification Requirements
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Additional Information
We encourage flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the application process. Candidates should provide any requests for time off, noting that it cannot exceed 7 days and no time off can be requested during the first week of assignment.
All candidates submitted must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position immediately if selected. Please provide a valid driver's license to verify residency.
