WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional care to patients during one of the most important times in their lives. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs
• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions
• Manages care of patients
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
• Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• No on-call

Required Skills & Experience

• One (1) year of experience in related specialty
• Minimum 2 years in L&D
• Advanced AWHONN or EFM

Preferred Skills & Experience

• EPIC experience preferred

Required Education

• ASN
• Advanced AWHONN or EFM

Preferred Education

• BSN Preferred

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS – AHA
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• NRP

Preferred Certifications & Licensure

• ACLS

Languages

• English – Speak, Read, Write
