Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting.
- Experience in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries is required.
- Charge experience is required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is required.
- Pediatric OR experience is preferred.
- Ability to scrub is preferred, but not required.
